Battery Problem for Mac again?

Apple เคยมีปัญหาเรื่อง Battery ของ Powerbook ไปแล้วครั้งนึง คราวนี้ก็เจอปัญหาอีกแล้วกับ Battery ที่ใช้ใน MacBook และ MacBook Pro แต่ปัญหาที่เจอครั้งนี้เป็นเรื่องของ Performance ไม่เกี่ยวกับเรื่องความปลอดภัย ทาง Apple เลยออก update มาแก้ไขให้โดยไม่ต้องมีการ recall Battery

Battery Update นี้ใช้ run บน MacBook และ MacBook Pro รวมถึง Battery ที่ขายไปในช่วงกุมภาพันธ์ 2006 ถึง เมษายน 2007 แต่ถ้าหลังจาก run ตัว Battery Update แล้วยังมีอาการอย่างใดอย่างนี้ตามนี้ก็สามารถส่งเปลี่ยนกับทาง Apple ได้ ขออนุญาติไม่แปลนะครับ

• Battery is not recognized causing an “X” to appear in the battery icon in the Finder menu bar.
• Battery will not charge when computer is plugged into AC power.
• Battery exhibits low charge capacity/runtime when using a fully charged battery with a battery cycle count (as shown in System Profiler) of less than 300.
• Battery pack is visibly deformed.
